The person who struck me the most is Tandanori Yokoo. His work with screen printing is surreal and textured. Every layer was positioned to show surreal meaning. He is a Japanese Andy Warhol with the same posterized screen printing. The posters are exciting and visually provocative. I think his influence will build me to try screen printing and imagery. I think where I lack in is conceptual thinking and hopefully by observing his work it will inspire mine.
